Indigenous hunting in the Russian Arctic: toward sustainable wildlife resource management

Arctic wildlife resource management must secure biodiversity without infringing on indigenous hunting rights. The article focuses the bottlenecks in of game species hunted by population. It is based data collected author subsistence and commercial peoples several Russian regions results CAFF Migratory Birds Initiative (AMBI) projects assessment impact migratory birds.
